Proofsplit

Will my test finish? (traffic & duration)

Before you launch, Proofsplit estimates how long the test needs using your real traffic on that page type:

  • Ready means it finishes within about 4 weeks. Slow means 4–8 weeks. Not enough traffic means it would need more than 8 weeks.
  • The estimate updates live in the experiment builder as you change page type, metric, effect size and traffic.
  • When the analyst turns an opportunity into a test, it picks the smallest detectable effect that still finishes in ~4 weeks. On low-traffic stores it switches purchase tests to add-to-cart (playbook §12), and it says so in the hypothesis.
  • Autopilot never launches a test your store can't finish. Bolder changes need less traffic than small tweaks.

Are you sure?
