Getting started

Proofsplit has one job: find a measurable conversion leak in your store and help you safely run one test to fix it. Home always shows the next step.

1. Install Proofsplit from Shopify. It opens inside your Shopify admin; there's no separate login. Want to look around first? Open the demo store.
2. Confirm your store facts (Settings → Store facts): shipping time, return window, free-shipping threshold and so on. We suggest facts we find in your refund and shipping policies; you confirm them. Shopper-facing copy may only state these facts.
3. Turn on the app embed and place a test slot. Both are one click in the theme editor, and Proofsplit detects them automatically. No theme files are edited.
4. Review an idea and approve its test. Every idea shows its evidence, the exact copy shoppers will see and a rollback plan. Nothing goes live without your approval.

Not open yet? If your store is password-protected or has no active products, Home shows a Before launch checklist. Prepare facts, slots and draft tests now; tests can start as soon as shoppers can visit.
